  • How do I get my room key?

    After entering the building with the code, use the iPads in the lobby to complete your check-in. Your room key will be issued on-site.

  • What if my key doesn’t work?

    If your room key is not functioning, please contact our team immediately – we’re happy to help!

  • Is there regular TV?

     Yes, each room is equipped with a smart TV. You can access streaming apps and live TV channels.

  • What are the Wi-Fi credentials?

GENERAL

  • How does the check-in process work?

    Final check-in info is sent to you at 1:00 PM on the day of arrival. It includes the building access code and instructions to code your room key at the iPads in the lobby.

  • Is the check-in self-service or assisted?

    Our check-in is fully digital and self-service. You’ll receive instructions via SMS and email before arrival. If you need help, we’re just a message or call away.

  • Can I extend my booking?

    Yes, extensions are possible depending on availability. Please contact us directly to arrange this.

  • Can I register my residence at ARIV?

     Yes, but only for stays under 3 months, as per Swiss law. Registration is not possible if you are already a Swiss resident simply moving within the country.

  • Are pets allowed?

    Dogs are welcome! We just charge a small cleaning fee. Please inform us in advance.

  • Can I rent a bike or car nearby?

    Yes! Right in front of the hotel at the bike station, you’ll find allride bikes and cars – including bikes with locks. Just download the allride app, register, and enjoy flexible access with no subscription fees.

LOCATION

  • Where can I park?

    You can park in our underground garage on ARIV-marked spaces. Parking is free and works on a first come, first served basis – no reservation required.

  • What if all ARIV parking spots are taken?

    If our marked spaces are full, you can park on the right-hand side of Lorzenparkstrasse or in other nearby public parking areas.

  • How do I charge my electric car?

    Charging is available onsite. Scan the QR code near the charging station or on the info sheet, choose a spot in the Easycharge app, and activate it. Use property code 46409. Questions? Contact Energie 360° at charge@energie360.ch or +41 43 317 20 02.

  • What are the public transport options nearby?

    A bus stop is just 2 minutes from the hotel – with bus lines 642 and 648 taking you to Cham station in under 10 minutes.

  • How much do public transport tickets cost?

    Fares depend on your destination and zones. For prices, check www.zvb.ch  or use the SBB mobile app.

LOST & FOUND

  • What happens if I lost something?

    Just send us a message or give us a call. If we find the item, you’re welcome to pick it up at ARIV or we can ship it to you by post.

PAYMENT

  • How do I receive my invoice?

    You’ll receive your invoice automatically by noon on your departure day, as long as payment and your billing details are complete.

  • Can I update my billing address?

    Yes – enter it during check-in on the iPad or email us to update it manually.

  • Can I register my residence at ARIV?

    Yes, but only for stays under 3 months, as per Swiss law. Registration is not possible if you are already a Swiss resident simply moving within the country.

HOTEL FACILITIES

  • Is breakfast available?

    Yes – breakfast costs CHF 20 per person/day and can be booked via the guest portal or with your reservation. It’s served at Café LatteStories, right across the lobby.

  • Where can I get fresh towels?

    You can ask housekeeping or grab fresh towels from the utility room. Please help us reduce waste by only taking new towels when necessary.

  • Can I do laundry?

    Yes – we have a laundry room with machines. Each wash costs CHF 4. Use the WeWash app to book and pay for machines. More info: https://we-wash.com/so-gehts/

  • Is there an iron and ironing board?

    Yes – both are available in the utility room

  • Where can I leave my luggage?

    You’re welcome to leave your luggage with us. Just reach out in advance or upon arrival, and we’ll arrange a secure space for it.

  • Can I receive mail and packages at ARIV?

    Yes! Use this address: Lorzenparkstrasse 15b, 6330 Cham, Switzerland. A personal mailbox can be arranged if needed.
